also the hound dies of an infection, not a fight

and the whole scene was poorly coreographed, just so terrible.

Don't worry, Varys is gonna disappear anyway. As for the changes, i like them, except for the whole Jamie not revealing to Tyrion about him never having hired the whore to begin with.

Not entirely happy with the season finale, some of the alterations they made to *how* things happened really added a cheese element to the episode.

Like Bran and crew getting saved by a magic throwing child of the forest? Ugh...

I feel like I've seen enough Jon Snow to last me forever.

I enjoyed the Brianne and Sandore fight even though it was totally contrived, they wrote it to where it was gritty and mean to watch.

They're changing things because they're going over budjet already and there's new characters to intruduce in future season. They're also changing things because they're ending the show in 3 seasons, way before the last book is done publishing. They're also changing things because book 4 had practically nothing happening except the wall and no Tyrion, so they had to shorten things.

Last but not least, they change things so we book readers can be surprised, because knowing everything in advance is really, really boring. I've already seen all the fights and scenes in my mind when I read the books, and it was all more awesome than any tv show or movie could ever make it. I'm glad they're changing things, just not about the way some of the things happened, like Jamie and Tyrion

I dunno. I am ok with the way they did it in the show. Jaime was the only one that loved Tyrion and I was kinda cringing to see him revealing the truth to Tyrion. They did do the Shae part good though. I was wondering how they would pull a scene like that off, but they executed it well.

I was a bit disappointed with the Stannis scene compared to how they did it in the book. I understand that they didn't have enough time to do it in the show, but they coulda made a better build-up.
