Well shit, this took a terrible turn.

It's fine if you dont want to go into it, but all I was saying was that the similarities were inconsequential and not worth noting, which they're not. A lot of movies/shows have similarities like this, but that doesn't mean they matter or impact the show in any way whatsoever. If they don't actually impact the show, it's not worth making the comparison, which again, is why I insulted the comparison and went the hyperbolic route of bringing up something completely fucking ridiculous.

Having an opinion that's shared by people on the internet is literally the worst thing you could bring up when trying to debate something. The majority of people are complete idiots and that's exactly why I brought up a nonsense topic that only idiots agree with. Clearly this isn't the same thing, but it's exaggeration to make a point, something I thought you'd recognize.

Sword Art Online vs Log Horizon... same concept but relatively different approach to story.
