I know fox does a lot of the films, but I consider x-men to be part of marvel...
Marvel is more popular/better... give me some stats that say otherwise.
Movies, fans on internet, and tv series seem to all go in the direction of marvel B)
And watching the animated cartoon of x-men as a kid was pretty great. I did watch and enjoy juctice league too, it's just inferior to marvel
As do I in regards to X-Men being Marvel, but the films aren't. I disagree, popularity and appeal does not automatically make it superior. In fact, most times something has a large appeal to the masses is because they cater to all a wide range of audience, children, teens, adults, etc. They tend to have much more fan-service and sacrifice content for appeal. Most times something is universally acclaimed is because it claims it's own "genre" and "field", it doesn't follow the masses rather create it's own lane. The perfect example is the music industry, radio play is trash and all sound the same receiving little acclaim but LARGE popularity. And that's exactly what the Nolan Trilogy of Batman did, it's more than just a superhero film. All the Marvel superhero movies follow the same damn recipe and is darn predictable. Haven't thoroughly enjoyed a Marvel movie for a WHILE. But the same can be said with DC, their movies outside of Batman has been pretty shitty as well. But this is just films we're talking about. There are so many other aspects to look at then just popularity if we're comparing the two.Quote (WelSh @ 1 Mar 2017 23:31)
Marvel is marketed much better and their 'lighter tone' (particularly in the cinimatic universe) has a much wider appeal. Say what you like but no marvel movie beats Nolan's first two batman movies
Agreed with what was stated here.Quote (IgoSoHard @ 2 Mar 2017 18:50)
The movies don't, but x-men & other mutants are indeed part of the marvel universe
Never did I once say X-Men and the Mutants weren't part of Marvel lolQuote (chelsea11 @ 2 Mar 2017 00:51)
Amazing movie. Sad tho :(
As I was hoping it would be, gotta touch on that emotional side, especially for a closing film for Jackman. Really excited to watch this weekend
