I'm sorry but the movie is being overrated. Lacking story, this is just a full blown comedy.

By who? Retarded fake fanboys on the interwebs? No shit Sherlock, they do this with everything. Deadpool is popular right now, therefor, all they had to do was make a mediocre movie and it would be seen as the best thing ever. Like the interest swarming with "Finally, a studio had the balls to make an R Rated superhero movie and it was amazing" like it was the first time anyone had ever done that.... Dread and The Watchmen were both R and both were far superior to this. That's how stupid people work. It was an entertaining movie, they did better than I thought they would with it and it was all-in-all an enjoyable flick. Was it great? Not even close. Was it above average when compared to other Marvel movies? Yes, without a doubt. People honestly believe the Avenger movies are amazing, why would you expect anything else here?

Regardless, it was an enjoyable movie, RR killed it as Deadpool. The supporting cast was bad and the plot was abysmal, and yet they still managed to keep a trickle of laughs throughout the entirety of the run-time. That's a rare thing to do. I never have high expectations for Marvel/DC movies anymore, the majority of them are barely watchable and only a few could actually be described as good movies when compared to real movies. It's a gimmick and it's not going away anytime soon, more and more people are pretending to care about the Marvel and DC universes, and it's apparent how little they know about movies and the characters they claim to love by what they consider to be good.

I just hope these studios can keep releasing 1 decent flick for every 5 horribly mediocre-shit films. What saddens me the most is that I've lost all hope for the Infinity War movies to be any good. With how bad the Avengers have been, I find it impossible to believe they'll be able to keep me even amused with those. I was so hyped for that shit when I first realized that's what they were headed towards, and then I continued to get more and more bummed out with each new weak fucking movie they put out. I'm curious to see how bad they fuck up Civil War. I'm sure it'll be entertaining and it'll have lots of quips, pew pew, explosions, more quips, overacting, pew pew and some more explosions. Already from the previews you can tell they're deviating pretty far from the source material and that's something I just don't understand. You have one of the most acclaimed story arcs, and instead of at least attempting to stick somewhat close to amazing material you have, you go off with an original adaptation and brand it with the name Civil War because Stark and Rodgers are fighting one another.

Ah good old hipsters
You managed to make indie music the most popular type making the whole thing really ironic
Lets see if you can do the same thing to movies?

I'm not a fanboy for anything, ever.
And I thought Deadpool was really good.
