Finale was solid , season pacing was a bit off
My takeaways:
-Simon peg wasted
-Tek knight was wasted
-A train redemption arc is solid, happy he didn’t get knocked off
-Frenchy arc a total waste of time, could have cut all the material and just had Asian supe have a heart to heart about what she had to do earlier and then still talk by the last episode
-Ryan def a bit of his dad, emotionless when killing grace and no immediate remorse, if they want to build him into the Clark Kent of the universe I hope they don’t rush it across 2-3 episodes
-MM and butcher constant are you in or out, Am I the leader or you for 8 episodes was obnoxious
-starlight still hot
-sage underrated and hilarious
-deep /noir bromance is entertaining
-homelander is a dick but man his childhood was so fucked up, sometimes I’m surprised he’s as human as he is.
But between soldier boy return, homelander/Ryan arc, A train arc , Ashley now a supe, butcher being venom I just think it’s a lot to cram in an 8 episode final season
Good season overall , despite not as good as prior, but ended on the high note
