God fucking damnit I was enjoying the episode thoroughly until the stupid ass Maggie plot twist.

That makes absolutely no sense... she is trying to plot with JESUS OF ALL PEOPLE... the one who has consistently been against killing and the voice of reason. Suddenly out of nowhere those two are plotting to teach Rick and Michonne a lesson by probably killing Negan or something to that effect. And then Daryl just pops out of the shadows. What an absolutely ridiculous sequence.

Maggie watched the guy rip her husband's head apart and then practically beat it into dust with a bat, she was in it to kill Negan from the very beginning. Not unfathomable that she's unhappy with the decision to keep Negan alive... planning with Jesus though, that was dumb. Is there even going to be another season?

Did Jesus ever even interact with Negan? He definitely wasn’t in the clearing... surely a Maggie/Darryl/Rosita coup would make more sense

Unless it’s just an excuse to kill Jesus off next season, doesn’t Rick kill someone for trying to kill/free Negan in the comics?

The whole maggie, daryl, jesus bullshit at the end ruined the whole episode. They just went through a long and deadly war, and Maggie, Daryl, and the Pacifist Jesus want to fuck with Rick and Michonne? If that's the season 9 storyline i'm out.

Overall it was a terrible season finale. You think one of those idiot saviors would have fired the guns before they left the base to go fight? Negan shot a pistol 3 or 4 times, and that was enough for everyone? One shot fired from a rifle would have let everyone know Eugene fucked them.....

Forcing Morgan to leave to pick up ratings on FTWD is stupid. He was a very solid character, one of the few. No one significant died, no one.
