Jaime lets tyrion escape in the books I wonder if they follow the same storyline.

Why have you stopped expecting stannis to show up? Did you miss the part where they said there will be more attacks? They fended off the FIRST attack. It is not over.

Your asking a man who simply guessed this. He hasn't read the books.

I know that. My point is that the episode made it clear the fighting was not over so why would he stop thinking stannis would come save them? He is acting like the attack on castle black is over. I am wondering what made him change his mind or did he not realize the fighting was going to continue.
