That is the point it seems like. Rick having to realize this world is bad enough as is and no point to make life even harder - possibly bonding point with negan so he is around in future arcs. However, Carl didn't have to die for that to be furthered. Actor himself found out about it recently after he apparently bought a house in Georgia or something lol

series could end with China coming down with some attack helicopters to clear out the last infected area (USA)

'Dragon' would be the type of name the Chinese could give those machines

It turns out that the dragon is being rode by Brandon. Then the dragon eats the other dragon whole and becomes Super Saiyan. After that, the Super Saiyan Dragon's power is so great that the whole universe is destroyed. The end.

Kirkman has stated that non-human animals can't get zombified by this virus. Which, when you think about it, actually gives other animals a real chance to become the dominant species when this is all over.

If the human military lost a war to Emus in 1932, it's reasonable to assume that both humans and zombies could struggle with them in the TWD world. So we could be headed for a future in which the world is dominated by Emus.
