Damn I thought Carl was secretly the main character

Carl is still alive in the comics. He was also never a bitch in the comics like he was on the show. If i recall correctly he shot his first zombie in the face in the first or second issue of the comics.

Killed his first zombie in issue 5 when the campground was attacked by zombies, and then killed shane in issue 6 when he was threatening rick.

In other news.

Carl is better off as a walker anyway.

Shame, I always found Carl to be such a shitty character on the TV show. Always complaining, always fucking things up.

I'm happy he's gone, or going to be soon. I hope rick goes bonkers and starts to turn into Negan 2.0.

Maybe not, but at least it opens up Rick to go into new arcs.

Most people i know stopped watching even if they didnt followed the comics and the others only read the comics

Let me rephrase my point was that a good portion of people who have read the comics still make up a significant base of the active viewers. This latest twist will hit that demographic

At least it will personally, several things in the past 2 seasons have really annoyed me. Glen dumpster death, unnecessary "cliff hanger" at end of same season, but this annoys me beyond repair. Looks rushed with lack of thought into it.

If not for the info about Riggs being off the show, I wouldn't believe Carl was dead.

How little sense could this possibly make? If he had been killed by another person in any episode prior to this, I would have applauded. But JUST when he gets interesting, they give him a random "oh he got bit last week, he's just telling us now" death?

WTF, this is completely pointless. The death doesn't advance anything meaningful since none of the "enemies" were involved in it.
