When the second zombie comes over, that's when it happened (you just see his head going towards carl's side) the next scene shows carl react.
When he's getting up, he's turned away from the camera, and appears to be looking down at his side (where he was bit)\

1:25 minute mark.

It's weak, but that's where it happened "supposedly" gimple said it happened and it was obvious and was surprised people missed it, so i dunno.

Doesn't even bite through the clothes? All the other bites went through close... would that even cause the infection....

The same thing happened with bob when he fell in the water in that store with the collapsed roof, he got bit through the shirt. Didn't tear the shirt but left bloody teeth imprints.

Oh, I didn't miss it then... but it is extremely weak evidence that he got bit, I do remember that I thought that he should have been bitten, since it took him forever to get rid of the first zombie. Anyway, thanks for clarifying it, and again I agree... it is weak and I don't think he got bit, the blood on his arm (shirt sleeve) is from the zombie, maybe he has a scratch and it infects him... oh shit, theorycrafting time...

I've lost faith in the show, I was actually finally starting to like Carl and for them to kill him off is a complete mistake in my opinion. then Gimple tried to justify the death by using Carl as a means to a reason for Rick NOT to kill Neagan after capturing him is just the biggest bullshit I've heard yet.

Yeah, was pretty stupid given that the justification in the comic worked fine. And the bonding with carl is what built negan into an even more unique character in the comic. Gimple is just throwing it all away with this move. And damn, we're not going to get the eye hole scene either. Wouldn't advance the plot but I just wanted to see them do it.

Hate to see what he does to fear(gimple is going to work on fear now) Fear actually found it's way in the last season, especially the second half and they basically gave it a soft reboot to go in any direction for the new season.

doesnt carl have bigger story arcs in the comic?

wonder how they are gonna deal with all of that now :/

Quite a few. Kirkman has said that this is carl's story, why he let gimple get away with this is beyond me. I really can't see them trying to integrate carl's different arcs in other characters properly.

Well, at least now we won't need to hear Rick screaming, "Carl!" all of the time. Is it messed up that I'm saying that? No. Carl has annoyed me more than anyone in the entire series. He did end up being an OK character in the later seasons, but in the beginning he was such a little pest.

i dont know much bout the comics but doesnt carl exist later on? i didnt watch the commentary after did they say carl dies from that wound?
