they wouldn't necessarily have to do a jump

Morgan could simply not show up on Fear until like Season 8

Bleh, you edited.

The timeline is season 3 finale of fear coinciding with the finale of season 1 for the walking dead. The walking dead season 1 started on day 60. Fear saw the start of it.

His son was killed by his wife who was turned(he told rick he never left town in "clear" after his son died), that happened in georgia. He also said he waited on the walkie for rick and he never came. For him to go from georgia to texas and then back to georgia for "clear" (kill everyone) and "here's not here" (all life is sacred) and then to virginia, it just doesn't add up. 254 days give or take between when he was last seen with rick and showed up crazy in "clear". For him to go that far in his crazy stage just doesn't make much sense.

Abraham would've been the smarter choice because he was in houston with his family before the shit hit the fan. Though character wise it wouldn't make much sense. (could have fleshed out a fan favorite's backstory some more with fear the walking dead)

They also said that morgan will be in season 4 of fear, and they just wrapped up filming season 8 of the walking dead last week (and that he said his goodbyes to the cast and crew) and just started filming for season 4 of fear the walking dead.

Also, they're talking like it's a post season 8 of the walking dead storyline when they said his story wasn't finished. So fear would have to do a time jump to catch up with morgan leaving virginia to head down to texas/mexico after all out war. Which will probably be a time jump for the walking dead as well due to how the comic was set up(2 year time jump in the comic). Unless they plan on filling in the gap after all out war concludes instead of time jumping like they did in the comic.

So there will have to be some sort of time jump for fear to catch up with morgan if they actually want to sync things up. Kirkman said it would be organic, but I cringe hearing that word after guggenheim with arrow.

Let's take a look at how different groups felt about the deals they had with the Saviors:

- The Savior's deal with the Kingdom was kept quiet, he let them have guns and enough resources to build a decent life. Ezekiel's opinion was that the deal was fine and his community could have kept living that way. Only a few people thought otherwise. It took intervention from other groups to change Ezekiel's mind.

-Almost no one in Alexandria was ok with Negan's control over them. He showed up at will interrupting their lives and taking their beds/guns. Rick was the only one really saying that they should accept it. Spencer was kinda acting like he was ok with it too at the end.

- We don't know the full story with the Oceanside people, but apparently those people didn't feel like they could live with Negan's deal.

- The Hilltop people seemed relatively unimpressed with the Saviors control, but they weren't exactly rushing to risk their lives to rebel.

- Negan apparently lets the junkyard people live how they want. If anything, they actually seemed to think that making deals with him would improve their situation as opposed to ignoring each other completely.

I'm curious why Negan's deals seem to vary so much between groups. I mean, if Negan had laid out terms to each group that they could actually live with, there may have been no rebellions. If he had just taken 15% instead of 50%, then he would have created a debate within each group about whether or not they could exist within those terms. And in that world, he could have more groups working for him and expended fewer resources keeping each one in line. If Negan had extended "Kingdom-style deals" to everyone, maybe everyone would be coexisting. That's basically all a government does. They tax people at a rate that still allows them to live reasonably.

i missed talking of the dead

so i take it Morgan is going to be the character to cross over

i doubt he leaving the walking dead series anytime soon, he proably just going to be a special guest char in fear for a couple of episodes

They said his story arc on walking dead will open him up for fear, so it means he'll be leaving the walking dead and most likely being a regular on fear the walking dead.
If he wasn't leaving, there wouldn't have been a reason to say his final goodbyes as he put it.

So either they kill him off and retcon his backstory that was already established to put him in and around texas/mexico, or they have him leave after all out war or towards the end of all out war and do a time jump on fear the walking dead.

I got no real complaints about this episode. I feel that it advanced the plot sufficiently as well as showing a reasonable amount of character development.

Eugene, obviously, was the star of the show and he did well. It made like his char more. He represents what I think I would be if I were in that situation (always trying to come up with clever ways to manipulate the dead).

One of the worst episodes of the series IMO.

We don't even see how the saviors deal with the walkers. Apparently they just said fuck it and shot them all - Hurray!

Rick in the junkyard was pointless.

so did they kill all of the walkers? or are all of the walkers just inside the building now? I don't recall right now but there wasn't really any dead bodies around the outside from what I remember.

Pretty weak episode though, it was pretty much filler
