I didn't like the episode. I expected an all out war. Flow was too stagnant. Hopefully, the next episodes are better.

While I thought the episode was alright, I did expect at least 1 main character to die... they couldn't even do that.

Seriously, going to bite them on the ass later. Should have wiped them out.

Feels like basically nothing happened the whole time. You could probably skip this episode and still consider yourself caught up with the show. I'll need a refresh on who this guy from Atlanta is though.

Wasn't he the dude that wanted to seek out his family after they all abandoned their camp near atlanta, after rick rejoined with his wife and shane?

This. Rick gave him supplies and a gun. The main group went to the CDC in Atlanta, and Morales (guy who is pointing a gun @ Rick) took his family somewhere else - i think Birmingham. He and Rick has a mutual respect for each other.

This. Nothing substantial has happened in the first 2 episodes. Random people died, Father Gabe got caught, rick saw a baby.

The only thing that was interesting to me this last episode was Morgan's decent into madness / "CLEAR" mode. He seems to have a hard time finding a middle ground with his killing mantra. It's either kill everything, or kill nothing.

Also, I really hope this show gets back to an actual Zombie Survival show. It was refreshing to see that head female savior die to that walker. I'm getting tired of the main story line/conflict being with humans. The zombies are a distinct afterthought, and that's sad to me.

I have said this here in this very thread and i will say it again. This is not a zombie show. It is a show that happens to have zombies. The walking dead is a reference to the people not the zombies. I have been very disappointing in these first two episodes. This is an arc should have basically written itself and been pretty good yet they are dragging it out and adding in tons of filler crap. It is like we are getting a super watered down version of what i would have expected.

I disagree. The prime of this show was when the zombies were the main antagonists - S1&S2. I'm speaking solely on the show, not the comics.

I understand that the human aspect is important and is in need of showcasing, but they're really getting away from zombies in general.
