The only thing that bugs me is this. If nature response to immortality is making a shadow self than can be killed, why the hell it (being nature) continues to spawn "Double Elena" when the original one has been cured and killed 2000 years ago?

Nature continues to spawn the doubles because it became a bloodline. It's essentially a gene.

this silas isnt the original right? its a decendant of the original

By other Silas she meant other doppleganger of him (or shadow self as he said) before stephan.

Was a helluva tear jerker. Was surprising given the recent state of things. Someone was cutting onions during that episode.
