Yea. They were tackled into the water literally right in front of danaerys and her dragon...somehow manage not to surface until thy are well away from them and the army, and no one from her army even looked for him?

To be honest, Dany probably had no fucking clue who was charging after her, nor her dragon. It really wouldn't be that surprising if after they went into the water, they resurfaced and just swam away. Those two probably had better things to do than chase two nobodies who were no longer a threat.

Also, even if she did know/care, from her point of view he was probably roasted alive.

Watch it again. They made it pretty clear that the flames engulfed their horses and you couldn't even tell Bronn saved him.

With a show about zombies and dragons people holding their breath for a few minutes isn't really that big of a deal imo...

agreed. They were literally in the middle of a battlefield and by the time they catch their breath it's over and the dotharki picking up weapons don't even notice them. Poorly done there.

But overall, the episode was slightly above average. The Gendry return was a bit rushed and the whole amassing of the party heading north felt too convenient, but this shit had to happen so I'm not going to hold it against the show too much.

The Winterfell stuff was super interesting. I'm gonna need a refresher on the context of the raven that Arya read. I'm almost thinking it was just a dud that Baelish grabbed to test if anyone was onto him.
