Either superhero movies have been paying off reviewers for the last decade, or they’ve all gone braindead anyway.

A lot of movies start that way though. I thought it looked good and Batman is a fantastic actor, just gotta look past him doing that easy twilight paycheck trash.

Bottom line though, it’s a superhero film, which are almost never ever good (there’s like 10 of them) and it’s a big hero for DC, which drops that even further. They do unknowns pretty well, but man do they suck at the big ones

Down to 86% on rotten tomatoes. I'm sure it'll be a decent movie

It's getting very similar ratings that Batman Begins got which has me hopeful. Metacritic is usually more accurate and it's in the 70s right now which is good for a super hero film.

It did give wonder woman a 76 lool

the closest thing to a "criticism" I've heard so far is that the movie is 'dark and gloomy like Se7en' .... which sounds to me like the polar opposite of a criticism

curious to see if anyone who watches it has anything actually bad say about it

I'm not thrilled about putting up with a crowded theater and speakers making my ears bleed. But if the movie is as good as everyone has been saying, I might have to take the leap.

Just watched it. Id say it's worth a watch but it's not on the dark knights level (most movies aren't). Detective aspect was good though, better than the other batman movies in this regard. I think cutting down the runtime would have improved it. Riddler dudes acting was pretty good.

I think I should have also avoided watching any more trailers and clips after the first one.

Id rate it close to the dark knight rises.

TDK>batman begins>TDKR>the batman however, the ending in TDKR is 10x better than in the batman.

Can't remember quality of batman returns so won't rate it.

actually id say tdkr is better.


The movie actually makes me want to rewatch nolans trilogy if I had time.

Nowhere near level of Batman Begins or TDK.

Interesting approach for sure but not for everyone.

Movie theatre was loaded with 15 year olds hoping to see Marvel type of superhero movie. Almost feel sorry for them haha

They were probably waiting for a punch line after riddler hammered the guys head.

Also, lol at the woke statement they just had to get in there.
