Not saying I'd like to or even be able to do this, but compared to some of the other actors we're talking about, this doesn't even register as difficult, yet alone "insane". De Niro was so fucking good for so long. It pains me that he's done 98% garbage for over a decade now. Couple things here and there that remind me why I love him (stardust, Silver linings - That's really about it though since 2001.... damn, 15 years). It's just hard for me to consider an actor with such a long shit streak as one of the all time greats. Sure, 15 or even 10 years ago he would have made my list 100%. Just upsetting that he chose to push out shitty movies nonstop, rather than wait for the right script or just retire. I don't think money is the issue, and I'm sure he has other stuff he could be doing. Just not sure why he won't stop....

That's not even remotely close to true.... He was a terrific actor, but once again, what truly makes actors transcend to greatness is versatility. The characters that worked for PSH, were all pretty much the same character. Compare that to a guy like DiCaprio who's played a Boston cop, a south African smuggler and a fucking plantation owner and nailed all of them. DiCaprio has the most depth/range out of every person I posted, but the rest are not far behind. PSH is good and I absolutely loved him, but it's just not even fucking close.
