I won't really complain about the episode, but I definitely won't say that the season started off with a bang

The most interesting piece was the Dorne stuff. Sansa was second. Every other bit was just sort of setting the stage so things could begin to happen.

The two parts of the plot that I was most anticipating, Jon and Bran, didn't get any progression at all. So that's disappointing.

Bran? His scenes are so boring, nothing happened with him since he fell from that tower.

Dorne scenes a shit. Seriously, Sand Sneks are the most uninteresting and one-dimensional people ever. They also go "lol you stole my kill xP" when they just finished their coup. I do like them going about assassinating people instead of the combat scenes they had last season, which were atrocious. Moreover they are pretty retarded to fight someone with whip and spear indoors in close quarters.

Other than that, I liked most other developments. Brienne+Sansa was a wonderful scene and the same goes for King's Landing and the Wall. Didn't care much for Essos developments but never did that anyway (except for Arya).

Exactly my thoughts. Dorne is a huge fuckup but the rest was pretty good.
I still wish we had Jaime's storyline in the books.

it never starts with a bang, standard opening episode just picking up on things and building up new story lines. It was great and they can only fit so many story lines in one ep

Dorne was kind of blah, like they're just rushing through it to focus else where. The rest of the developments were cool though. Only thing I really disliked was that the episode was shorter.
