Thought affleck did well as Bruce Wayne. Overall I thought it was very average. Didn't hate it, didn't love it. Go in with no expectations

-------------------------------
Things I didn't like:

-The Martha scene where batman goes full bromance after learning their moms have the same name. Batman is methodical cold and calculating. The transition between full hatred to full friendly was way too fast for me and nothing in between. No sentence like, remember this moment where I could have killed you but didn't- something like that. Not only did I think that was a bit out of character for batman he then chucks the kryptonite staff he spent the 1st half the movie making. Sorry but I don't think batman would act that rash and clumsy.

-Additionally I don't like the direction they went with lex. Lex Luther isn't the joker, in fact I recall at least two incidents where he despised the joker and called him a maniac. While I think Jessie did exactly what the producers wanted, I don't think it was the right move. Maybe should have saved him for a riddler or something that fits a bit better.

-Alfred's age.................love the actor and I enjoyed their interactions. I just really didn't like the lack of a age gap, it's a small detail though

-plot...if you saw the 2 minute 2nd trailer then you saw the movie
----------------------------------

Things I liked

-Ben afflecks acting and depiction of Bruce Wayne. SPOT ON for me he did such a fantastic job. He was introverted and paranoid and i think it's one of the best Bruce Wayne performances out there

-individual performances in general I thought were really well done. Everyone played the character they were designed to play nicely.

------------------------------

The writers should get the flak of the negative criticisms. If they didn't reveal doomsday it might have been much better if that was left out for the shock factor. Whoevers idea to reveal doomsday ruined a great deal

Just watched the 3rd dark knight again...fuck what an amazing movie and series that was. Brilliantly done so many nuances. This bvs movie was just too basic, for me, and lacked depth.

5-6/10

Hasn't flopped financially has it?

I wasn't talking about it flopping financially.

Obviously it was gonna make a fuck ton of money.

Sorry, film was pretty bad, kinda like a brainless action flick...

Some visuals are strong though, story/ dialogue let it down greatly.

You are misunderstanding me.

I am trying to say it sucks it isn't good because it's a good sign that the rest of them will follow suit. Obviously it's a cash cow and they will milk the fuck out of it regardless how bad the movies are.

First impressions aren't always the best way to judge something.

Prometheus was almost universally loved at first (I hated it). I've had entire essays written to me trying to tell me why it was good. Now everyone pretty much universally agrees it was trash.

Fight club was absolutely slaughtered when it came out, now it is a film classic.

I personally disliked watchmen the first time I saw it (blame it on being too young) but now it is my favorite superhero movie to date.

I'm going to see BvS in a few hours and I'm sure I'll love it even if it has flaws, and I'll be extremely excited to get the r rated extended edition in July.

Shouldnt have revealed wonder woman either in trailer, even if she was a known cast or doomsday. Though, It still wouldn't have saved this movie from being mediocre, but definitely would've felt better lol
