Good show so far for me personally! Where is the 2nd season at though?!

That was a bad movie... I'm not sure why you'd even mention it. Obviously I wasn't hoping for Fisk to be that either.

He's just a boring and unbelievable character.

It was an alright season, I'd give it 6.5/10. I loved a lot of the things they did, I just really disliked Fisk. I don't care about his love story, I want to see a villain, not a whiny little bitch. It's just not realistic at all that someone who's accomplished what he had while remaining in the shadows could be so stupid. It was just disappointing, we've had so many good Marvel/DC villains recently and I wanted to like Fisk, I just thought he was annoying though.

You can see how it would be hard to find a lady that would love a monster like him. You can tell that he was always alone and lonely so finding someone that accepts him for who he really is can bring in some emotion mistakes. Clearly he had everything under control before her. Villains are human too.

You're the only person I've come across that doesn't like Fisk lol

my only experience with fisk was from the 90s spiderman cartoon. i really didn't like him very much. he really didnt feel like much of a master criminal. but d'onofrio is the main reason i watched the live action update

It was really good imo

almost done the season but Fisk is great, in my opinion.

Like Pookie said, villians are humans too. He had a horrible childhood, is an incredibly flawed character (in a good way), and seeks someone to find comfort in. His father taught him to go out and seek the world and obtain whatever he wanted, but after the traumatizing experiences he had, I don't think he really wanted to become the monster he is. This is why his love story is important and fitting.

I know I'm in the minority here, that's been abundantly clear and I'm fine with that lol. It's just my personal opinion. I don't find it believable that someone so idiotic could have gotten to his station in life with the anonymity he had. It just didn't make sense and I found it to be too large of a flaw to look past. His associates kept saying he had changed since the woman etc... but really it seemed like he mostly operated the same way he always had (assumed). Just now, Murdoch was making his life a living hell. I can see the attraction and I see what they were going for. It just missed the mark entirely for me and it completely ruined the character. I still enjoyed the show and I'm hoping the next season will be better, it just wasn't as good as I had hoped.

But remember that it wasn't just her coming into his life that caused all the chaos

... I just said that it had nothing to do with her. Which is one of the main reasons that Fisk is unbelievable.
