Wasn't the wine, and if it was, then everyone drinking wine from the same pitcher would have died.

Again, I'll say I havn't read the books. I watched the episode like 2-3 more times.
They showed many characters that could've been the cause of his death.
Could've even been the luck of him swallowing some of the birds blood, that might of been sick. (doves, popped out of the pie and 1 or more died in it, while he cut it with his sword)
But I doubt it, lol. That'd be too far fetched and stupid.
