So I'm confused...

They made the Mandarin out to be a puppet...a creation of AIM...which makes no sense...because the Mandarin is a villain on his own...he is no ones puppet...

I was expecting the Mandarin to be the main villain in Iron Man 3 and actually show off his abilities...and we got none of that...

I could see this happening.

Killian being the Mandarin's puppet and taking the fall for the Mandarin.

So it's either the "real mandarin" is in jail, or the guy in jail is just a double for the "real mandarin" and the "real mandarin" is still out there.

Unfortunately RDJ's contract is up for Iron Man, and he has stated numerous times that he doesn't want to really do it anymore because of the toll it has done to his body apparently.

So, IM4 probably won't happen, thus, making that theory pointless. So, all we have is shitty IM3 to show us how to really fuck up a really good villain and movie premise.

There is actually also a rumor that Tony Stark will be killed somehow in The Avengers 2, which will make sense because they are going up against Thanos, who is the courtier of death, thus leading us to believe someone will have to die. (RDJ's contract being up and the rumor makes this very believable)

***Also, I actually think his death could actually be a good thing for future Marvel movies going forward, as it adds a new emotion and humanity to the films that could be exactly what the franchise needs to continue making us stay in awe of Marvel's powerhouse performances.
