So many people hating on the episode for being too graphic.

I thought Rick ripping someone's jugular out with his teeth was worse.

Critics are giving it 10/10 or hating it lol. Seems like no in between.

Bashing the heads of 2 men until nothing is left but mush, that's way worse than a quick bite to the neck

There have been other gruesome deaths worse than the jugular scene, Noah's death comes to mind. Glen can do nothing but watch as his friend is ripped apart screaming and making eye contact, that was pretty bad

The mumbling from Glenn with half his skull bashed in made me cringe harder than I think I ever had at T.V. That shit was intense.

Yeah, this is the part that got me. Everything up to that point had been fairly normal, for a TV show about zombies; they cave heads in all the time.

Oh yeah, they really seem to have shocked a ton of people. If the mainstream wasn't desensitized already, their on their way now

I disagree.

I think it only had a bigger impact because it was two beloved protagonists. If Negan did that to two random people no one would give a shit.

I'll find you Maggie.
Most people who read the comics saw this coming, but damn if they didn't pull it off with a bang.

You said yourself people are complaining about the episode being too graphic. Swapping out Glen/Abraham with 2 randoms wouldn't make it any less graphic.

The high profile deaths certainly would have drawn discussion regardless if it was graphic or not.

Emotions did run high because of Maggie being present though
