how come jay doesn't have his speed force? all the other metas from earth 2 still have their powers when they come to earth 1

Same reason wells didn't have his powers when he first got here. They got their power from flash in their times, they tapped into the speed force. Since there's no speed force from their reality, there's no power. Wells was able to harness the speed force, albeit temporarily at times. The other metas from earth 2 get their powers from their very bodies being altered.

The speed force transcends time and space, which is why Barry can use it to travel through time. Speed force is generated when Barry runs, which is why Wells needed Barry to get his powers asap.

dis..... barry created the speed force... it "echoes through time and every dimension"

im wondering if jay actually still has his power, but not using it for some mysterious reason...

to teach barry things.. idk

Then how come Wells did NOT have his speed force after he killed Barrys' mother? Barry did NOT have his abilities?
Yes Wells helped Barry harness his abilities to help himself, and also created the Star Labs disaster EARLIER than
his own history wrote about, but, since he was from a different timeline in that world and creating the same path
towards his own speed, he should have either, retained his ability or never existed because his ancestor was killed.

Anyway, it is a show and it seems to be getting a bit timeline, dimensional, multiverse confusing...
