Jon won't be in next season. Kind of like how Bran took a season off. It will save them money.

Really? Cause Bran's salary is so high? Ha

Because HBO isn't George RR Martin and if Martin kills Jon off so does HBo

the idea that Martin would kill off Jon is preposterous.

It essentially amounts to 15+ years of leaked plot summaries and 15+ years of foreshadowing in the books as to Jon's parentage being a red herring. The preponderance of evidence supports Jon return to life in some form, whether it be for good or evil is yet to be determined, but there is not possibility that Jon wont come back other than GRRM playing out one of the longest pranks-cons of all time. if you read the books you have Jon's parentage and foreshadowing to his importance once the long night comes thrown directly in your face so many times you even begin to take it for granted. Among book readers there is little to no debate on jon's resurrection, it is a foregone conclusion. The only debate pertains to process and motive behind his resurrection.

Yup but they didn't mention it in the show.

In the books all the Stark kids are warg.

Well, unconfirmed as far as actually warging something IIRC.

However he is recognized as a warg by the freefolk when he joins their ranks, and the title sticks with him as an insult from Thorne and company when he returns to the wall.

However he does meet powerful wargs but never shows signs of the ability himself even in their presence.

However Jon does seem to be able to control Ghost in a manner that Bran can control his wolf even when not directly warging him, conversely Sansa, Arya, and Rickon had very loyal but unruly wolves, suggesting less warging power IMO. Robb likely was a warg as greywind was nearly 100% in his control and used as a weapon on the battlefield.

Yup and Robb died two times, first as himself and then he warged into his wolf and died again :(
In ADWD's prologue we learn that when a warg dies, his ''soul'' for the lack of the better word merge with his animal.

AHAH unconfirmed but i believe the theory.

And for anyone interested (not a spoiler for the show as it was left out) when Arya goes to sleep at night she leads a pack of wolves near the Trident in killing both armies through the eyes of her Dire wolf which she released. It is the largest pack of wolves that has wandered Westeros in a long time, and is a massive fear for both armies in the area.

This is how warging starts, you begin to control animals in your sleep, and will likely not develop further without guidance.

GRRM also said ''You dont put a giant wolfpack on the wall if you don't plan on using it''.

I hope some Freys or Boltons get slaughtered by hundreds of wolves.

No.

They are waiting for the books now. How can Jon be in this next season when the books haven't even decided his future?
