How would the Saviors know that? The two people awake at the beginning to see that were killed right away. The show made a point of showing that Jesus concealed his identity when he went in. Even if by some miracle some scout saw that the Hilltop exchange was involved in the attack and got away to tell the story, they still would have needed Hilltop's help to point to Alexandria as the source of.

The only exception would have been if it happened to be Dwight that saw Daryl and then ran away to tell the rest of the Saviors. If that's the specific connection, I feel like it would make sense for the show to reveal it to us.

The only reasonable explanation for the miracles of information they seem to magically know is: the anti-Christ (who conveniently is also a communist)

4 possible explanations:

1) Someone at Hilltop is playing both sides
2) Saviors have Alexandria under heavy surveillance and instantly know everything that happens, including conversations that happen indoors
3) Some unseen connection the show will explain later (Dwight make sense here)
4) The writers don't care if it really makes sense, they just need an excuse to create conflict

I cant recall any major lose ends that they didn't take care of but you're right they all seem extreme

Neegans bunch must have been terrible lucky to such high numbers, no diseases where people in the same building you secured, start to bite you, no governator shooting down their complexes with tanks, their farms not being overrun etc, etc, etc. I mean the army, national guard and more could not stand up and get eradicated, and yet here you have him with such numbers that they all must have rabbit's feet, leprechauns, clover 4's, guardian angels, lucky coins and more that actually worked.

Nah, there's really no reasonable way to explain their numbers, resources, and seeming invisibility and omniscience up to this point. I mean I don't really care, I still find it entertaining to watch, but trying to force yourself to accept any of it as reasonable or plausible is an exercise in futility. Just roll wiff it.

It's as plausible as Genghis Khan's life.
