oh please don't tell me they are now butchering the brotherhood by having them act as zealous murderers of peasants.

to be fair, the show is ahead of the book at this point. It's not unrealistic to think that they could have gone down that path eventually anyway in the book and be like that at this point in the story.

So, does the Hound go after the BWB, or does he join the High Sparrow and become their champion to fight the Mountain in Cersei's trial by combat?

Hmm...I'm cool with either.

I doubt it will go this path, they are headed by someone who pretty much has no heart and they aren't even close to being this evil or petty. The Brotherhood feels they are a soiled cause under LSH and she only has them enact excessive revenge on freys and lannisters.

Kind of a waste to introduce the elder brother and just kill him so quick. Figured he would give Meribald's broken man speech, given the name of the episode, but not even close.

presumably her letter is going to be intercepted and cause trouble for Jon?

I know they said no stoneheart but damn that whole scene just screamed stoneheart. Right down to the hanging.

Something was off about the scene with arya, hope there's a twist. She went from sneaking in a dark alleyway with needle to that.... just doesn't add up.
