saviors didn't start scouting the area until after they got hit? Alexandria was a cash cow ripe for the picking going undetected all this time?

We know that it wasn't until the wolves found Aaron's pictures that they knew about is. It just seems weird that the Saviors waited until they actually got hit to start looking here. And after they get hit by a group they knew nothing about, that's when they just happened to hone in the correct area. Nothing pointed them this way?

theres a lot of unknowns, like how alexandria didnt know about hilltop even tho they had scouts out there looking for people.

also i'd have to go back and check, but maybe daryl said something to dwight about alexandria when they first met and that info got back to the saviors. i mean alls they would have to is look at a map once they know alexandria exists.
same shit that happened with the prison once the governor found out it existed.

you do know this isn't a real place? Your trying to draw a map of the area by thinking through things logically and rarely does that happen in TV land, logic is rather boring and doesn't sell cars.

That would be an answer to the question. If that is indeed the case, I feel like the show should mention it at some point to connect the storylines in a coherent way.


Yea, that was one of the possibilities I mentioned when I posed the original question. If that is the case, I again feel like the show should mention that was the connecting link.

When Rick was proposing the preemptive strike, the show made a point to emphasize that our group was attacking an unsuspecting enemy. That was a big part of the morality play that episode explored. If it turns out that the saviors already know about us (from the Dwight/Wolves connection or something else) then I feel like that changes the narrative about that whole situation. It changes what our group can learn, looking back in hindsight at their experiences. That progress is the major theme of the show.
