tell me some other then what u listed we haven't seem yet, I think season 5 would be a perfect ending to this. more only gets repetitive

Silas doesn't need the cure to complete the ritual. He needs the ritual to get rid of the other side that was created by the witch Qetsiyah. He wants the cure so he can kill himself and be with the woman he fell in love with, otherwise if he takes the cure and kills himself, he'll be trapped on the other side with Qetsiyah forever.
