those scenes had some redneck rampage-feel to it as in mere stupid unhindered violence

I would have liked to see a little more dialogue in opening scene though after they turned the tides on them...maybe like head guy alive for several minutes before getting shot by one of the 3

How considerate of him to close the door after himself, you need to conserve heat in the Zombie Apocalypse too.

I think it's just lazy writing, to be honest. Need some action and suspense? Put Glenn in danger, but have him somehow miraculously survive, no matter what the odds. It's getting old. No way none of those bullets should have missed him, but took down all those walkers, lol so dumb

More like Welcome to TV Shows in general. 90% of shows pull that kinda crap, can't single out TWD for criticism in any way. If anything, we should give it some credit because occasionally shit does get real.



In order for a show to surprise us, it first has to establish expectations for it it then to play off of. When they get your guard down, that allows them to deviate from their formula for extra effect.

The surface action is one thing to distract you but once you think about the deeper themes that are prevalent it's gets real icky. Whatever, not going to ruin it.
