ya dean pretty much quit same thing sam did thats why sam didnt tell him he was back because dean had a life etc

and sam jumped in himself michael tryed to grab them and he fell in aswell

like we havent figured out dean only cares about himself by this point

really guys

i disagree he obviously really cares about sam, as well as his ex girlfriend and her kid Ben i think
he just sucks as showing any emotion

am I right in thinking that Cas is back in the next ep !?

There's a big difference from when Dean came to Lisa's house and broke down and cried after they saved the world and his brother was trapped in Lucifer's cage with Lucifer and Michael then when Sam ignored everything after Dean and Cas went to purgatory and tried to have a life.

You did see the episode with the phone messages right? Sam abandoned the prophet Kevin. Dean was still keeping tabs on things when he was with Lisa and Ben, he was following leads. So he didn't actually quit, but he tried to have a life and found out that he couldn't have both without endangering Lisa and Ben.



Yet he dropped everything to help Benny the vampire.
He had Lisa and Ben's memory wiped because of the pain he caused them and how he didn't want them involved.
Or how he would do anything for his Brother and constantly does.

Dean doesn't really care that Sam quit for a year. He's more pissed that Sam didn't try to look for him while he was in purgatory. That's a good reason too. The show used to be better when they dropped everything, even if it was impossible, to save the other. Sam has changed from that mind set, he's broken. I personally think if Bobby came back he would get his shit together. As for my original comment, Dean just acts so pissed that Sam quit for a year because Dean is horrible with "speaking his mind/showing emotion" and it's his way of venting on Sam.

The difference is that Sam never wanted to be a hunter.

Its all dean knows how to do.

Damn, it's nice to see Amanda Tapping on there but she's being shady as hell.
