yeah i've heard that the last episode is really bad lol but i still have a ways to go before i see it!

i'm just starting the forth season right now. i'd like to space it out to where the last episode of Dexter ends right before the next Walking Dead episode begins but..that's not gonna happen!

It wasn't really bad, people are just looking at it wrong. The mid season finale and the mid season premiere were written as one episode. The set up with the mid season finale was great, along with the biggest name drop on the show yet. Everything that needed to be tied up at that moment was tied up and they left us with a great big comic book scene to end it on that will play out quite nicely on the mid season premiere. Anyone that is actually a fan of the comics would've liked that episode.

Most of the people who watch this show don't however read the comics. Hindsight may show us it was a good episode but until then it was a let down for a lot of fans. Minimal character development additionally with some bizarre acts. How the whole wolf confrontation was handled is still kinda mind boggling to me.

The only aspect of the episode that made it alright was the post credits negan mention.
