You realize that basically the only reason Scarlett Johansson is on that list is Marvel didn't lock her in with a contract like they did with all of their male stars. She is movie to movie allowing her to negotiate the fuck out of her payday.

Probably one of the only examples of inequality in Hollywood that has actually helped an actress. Doesn't mean she should be on this list, only means giving her money is better for Marvel than trying to recast her character and getting shit on by the fans (aka customers).

The point is she is literally one of the biggest female actors right now. She landed the major marvel contract which guarantees movies for her for the next 5 years at least. That's how strong her persona is. And on top of that she's still leading in standalone films.

I don't argue that anyone in here listed hasn't deserves it, I was just mind blown when talking about actors who have created strong brands that she hasn't even been considered.

She doesn't have a contract that's the point. She basically lucked out and a cameo level appearance ended up turning into a huge role because of fan hype that marvel clearly didn't predict because they didn't offer her a contract.

She didn't luck out. She doesn't have a contract. If she wasn't a strong brand they could have killed her off already. But because it's her and she brings so much extra to the movie they pay her the extra money. I mean you are making my argument for me and you don't even see it.

No contract means more pay and pay is what the argument is about after you posted that link. She lucked out that the Avengers movie was a huge hit and didn't have a contract.

Like seriously are you trying to argue she's not a massive name in the business? Her talent, or lack of is irrelevant and you're only arguement is she's lucky?

She's a superstar, a huge draw for film producers and audiences.

You're wrong, the hype was for the character not the actress.
