Nothing honestly huge really happen until episode #10, 3-8 is kind of filler about minor issues that every girl experiences in highschool and that build up overtime to suicide including the *spoiler* --------------------------------------------------------------------rape she got episode 11

They failed at making me sad or feel bad for the girl throughout the whole show because of poor execution (and no stupidlkid282, nothing to do with how she looks)

Stupidkid282, we agree to disagree but he gives me shit about how I think that the girl even tho she's a realllllllly good actor she's way too fucking good looking and perfect and smily and nice personality and eyes when shes in a nice mood to be in these kind of movies

It wasnt realistic for me in that aspect but what I wanted from the movie was to feel bad for her no matter how she looks and they failed...sending tapes to make people feel bad after her death aint cool too

I felt bad episode 10 during cley's tape (felt bad for cley' mostly) and the last episode when he was talking with the school board black guy

They are freaking about the tapes because they are incriminating to them.


Don't listen to Nevada, he has very little comprehension of this show. He completely missed everything.


He doesn't have to love or like the show, I don't care, but he continuously shows his lack of understanding of it, and real life social issues.

Again, stop being stuck on her looks. Her physical appearance supports the plot. You simply lack the understanding of this show. Her "good looks" has a major role as to why her social problems exist. It's realistic and happens all the time.

It has nothing to do with "agreeing to disagree," you simply have a poor judgement of social issues.

it's incredibly easy to understand why she did the tapes and it's unfortunate that you don't understand it.

If its so easy to understand then why do you think nobody irl who suicides ever creates some sort of tape just to say why? oh wait...cuz its not common

That girl in any high school would be one of the girls with the most friends. highschool = alot based on how you look

So yes it matters

The tapes were a way to convey the show in a more interesting way......it's called creativity, but also how the book was written. It's a story. It's what authors do to create original content.

I've already explained this, but since you lack comprehension, here it is again.

She was new to the school.
She had friends, but had fallouts. Do you understand what that means?
Rumors ruined her reputation.

Being "good looking" doesn't mean you automatically can have friends.

You are so incredibly naive.



I'm not putting words into your mouth. You're doing that all by yourself. Stop being fixated on her looks. If she was "unattractive," the entire plot would have been different and the specific instances of what happened would most likely be completely different.

just finished it yesterday.. Really hoping for a season 2 but at the same time hoping there wont be a season 2. IMO there's too many things left unexplained at the end which would spark a season 2...
