unfair adtvantage in actually having a good villain?

The characters/actors are part of the show....just as much as the plot and setting.

Get any other actor as him and the show wouldn't be nearly as good.

But he was in the show...sooo....?

Surely you judge the show on the characters and the actors who play the characters.

The silence of the lambs wouldn't be as iconic if someone else had played Hannibal

But they didn't?

The point is the content/story/majority of the acting in Jessica Jones wasn't better than Luke Cage, in fact most of that was better in Cage. The only reason I think Jessica Jones was better was because it had an amazing actor doing complete justice to a super creepy villain.

I don't understand how that is so hard for so many of you to understand.
