don't take it too out of context. A lot of children can be considered "cute," and certainly cute enough to portray a movie character.

I suppose I have to be pretty literal here, imagine a child on the set of a movie, its not exactly an easy task unless they are a decent actor.


With all this said, I really only enjoyed her roles in Mean Girls and Parent Trap.

Sorry being a bit argumentative recently! I guess they have to be talented to move beyond acting as a child. And when you look at people like Macaulay Culkin she did pretty well staying on the rails as long as she did :D

Well - Jodie Foster was a star child actor who made the switch to adult star , it coulda happened with Lohan too - but she's carrying the weight of her problems in her acting/people see that pain as well and that prevents her from successfully playing a role. The way the media is now, I doubt we'll ever see another child star make it as an adult.
