Starwars isn't a sci-fi movie, it is a fantasy film in disguise. SC would be more comparable to star trek.

But even then the sc1 lore is amazing and could do very well as a movie.

Yeah but the animations for the zerg might demand high budget
Especially when you include space battles with battlecruisers
