We are not talking about everything here, there will allways be people that disagree with stuff that is good as proven such as the Holocaust for example. This topic however is not good as proven, it's up to the beholder to decide which is the best film because there is no good way of measuring the quality of a picture you keep claiming there is but you can't explain how it's done.
You haven't provided any decent examples of how you measure the quality of a film EXCEPT popularity and some other really vague suggestions, but when I call you out on it you agree that box office results is a poor way to measure how good a film is so im asking you again: How do you decide which is the best out of two films, what criterias do you use?
What it boils down to is this: If you can't scientifically prove something then it's not a fact, if it's not a fact you shouldn't pretend there's a right and wrong answer.
You can't prove art, it dosen't work.
