Superman could decide he is now the ruler of the world. Wouldn't require a complete detachment where he becomes a psychotic killer. The dark knight returns is a pretty good example of what you're talking about... Sort of. Superman "de-armed" the green arrow. But I think there are multiple ways Batman could fuck up supreman as well. A kryptonite powder weaponized could end Clark without him even knowing.

If batman wanted to do a sneak kill, then yea. Unsuspecting clark could be in range of kryptonite. The tiniest mistake and it would be over tho.

well i doubt in the movie..he will be all star superman, or go to a alternate universe or be superman prime... so kryptonite k/o
