water = resistance

if you continuously punch or push your hand through water you will get stronger.

i dont see how though, wouldnt u normally be able to draw the bow witout even pushing ur hand through water

depends on the weight of the bow. I would imagine that the bow he was being trained for is a heavy bow and would require a lot of strength to pull back on.

yea thats heavy as fck, but how does constantly push water make u pull stronger? sounds so simple. if i can start doin tat i can maybe pull other heavy stuff as well?

no clue rofl...they don't say how long he sat there pushing water...maybe it was months rofl...I imagine u would need to do it for a very long time...do you have that kind of patience and time on your hands?
