Aggron has constantly perfect hair no matter the situation.
This really bothers me for some reason.

Crassus is known to be the one who stopped Spartacus. Just like Claudius Glaber and Verinius were known to be the fist generals to fall to him. So brace yourselves sallies, Spartacus and his rebellion will fall. It's amazing how many people are rooting for a Disney ending to a dark and grim show.

Already lost a lot of good characters, favourite was Varo. It's dark enough without needing a horrible ending with everyone dead to an amazing series

It's just imo that ending a show or movie dark and grim has a greater potential of being terrible. I don't want Spartacus to die, therefore if he dies, then the death must be very epic enough to rid my dis pleasure of him dieing. Him living doesn't have to worry about that thus greater chance of being good. But in this case making Spartacus live would also be dis pleasing as it wouldn't make sense/ ridiculously impossible (cant win against rome cuz overwhelming odds and not enough time or him running away/hiding goes against everything he is) then there's the giant twist in history.
The ending will certainly be difficult but there has been many epic moments in the show so i think they will think of something creative and awesome for everyone.

Episodes 5-7 are out. They are very entertaining.

But I must say, I feel like the highlight of this season so far has been episodes 2-4. The whole thing with Sinuessa, the infiltration, the conquest, and the aftermath for dealing with the Romans. I loved that dynamic of heavy moral ambiguity they implemented, and the conflicts that arose. Up until this season Spartacus was okay with slaughtering citizens. But then he walked amongst Sinuessa, saw all the innocent, not so bad people, and his mind did a total flip. It was something very much missing from Season 2 (he seemed to like slaughtering roman non-soldier citizens with impunity), so I'm glad they brought it in.

The last few episodes have been a bit more of a straightforward set of war episodes. It is cool keeping track of all the manoeuvres Spartacus and Crassus are doing against each other. But there's a lot less of a psychological battle around morality. I understand that the morality stuff was a way to set up the whole rift between Spartacus and Crixus which plays out in later episodes, yet now I think their dispute is over something a bit more superficial.

That said, we all know that Spartacus and Crixus are supposed to split up in separate bands. Yet history is not so clear on whether that's a tactical thing or a dispute between the two. DeKnight knows this, and he's really having fun toying with us in this regard. First, Crixus makes mention of making his own band after their dispute. Then he and Spartacus make up and they decide to split up for tactical reasons. Then they can't split up, but now they're free of the wall and at each others' throats again.

In the last episode, I'm wondering how to feel about Spartacus' latest "victory". He required a storm to kill a thousand of his people in order to accomplish it (otherwise he couldn't have gotten past the trench). So it's kinda strange. A storm massacre saved him, otherwise Crassus would have just come down upon his army and kill everyone.

What i don't understand is why didn't they get rid of the bodies after crossing the trench??!

They could have EASILY made it so they could not advance against them. Burn the bodies and the romans wouldn't be able to cross the trench. Seems like a smart move, but instead leave it there so the romans can once again reach them.

I hope this doesn't follow historically 100%...... the series would have such a bad end is they split up, then they all die. Crixus is my favourite character and has changed a lot since season 1. Following history is not only boring, but so predictable and crappy, especially when the characters are as amazing as this show

By the way, this is a guess, but I think Kore is going to try to convince Spartacus to attempt to kidnap Tiberius. Spartacus would gain leverage against Crassus and Kore would gain her... uh... "moment" alone with Tiberius. And, of course, she was probably set to motion by Caesar. A kidnapped Tiberius allows Caesar to gain victory over the rebellion as Crassus' word and will.

If anyone is interested, here is a copy and paste from wiki on the real events.

Afterwards, when Spartacus retreated to the Bruttium peninsula in the southwest of Italy,[8] Crassus tried to pen up his armies by building a ditch and a rampart across an isthmus in Bruttium, "from sea to sea."[9] Despite this remarkable feat, Spartacus and part of his army still managed to break out. On the night of a heavy snowstorm, they sneaked through Crassus' lines and made a bridge of dirt and tree branches over the ditch, thus escaping.[9]

Some time later, when the Roman armies led by Pompey and Varro Lucullus were recalled to Italy in support of Crassus, Spartacus decided to fight rather than find himself and his followers trapped between three armies, two of them returning from overseas action. In this last battle, the Battle of the Siler River, Crassus gained a decisive victory, and captured six thousand slaves alive. During the fighting, Spartacus attempted to kill Crassus personally, slaughtering his way toward the general's position, but he succeeded only in killing two of the centurions guarding Crassus.[11] Spartacus himself is believed to have been killed in the battle, although his body was never recovered. The six thousand captured slaves were crucified along the Via Appia by Crassus' orders. At his command, their bodies were not taken down afterwards but remained rotting along Rome's principal route to the South. This was intended as an object lesson to anyone who might think of rebelling against Rome in the future, particularly of slave insurrections against their owners and masters, the Roman citizens.
