The Dark Knight truly was a 10/10 masterpiece. I am not joking when I'm saying I've seen it dozens of times. I always use it as a benchmark for my own setup. I've also watched it probably 10-15 different times with 1-3 friends at a time. And when I go around hi-fi stores auditioning home cinema set ups I bring my TDK blu-ray and watch it, probably seen it in 20 different a/v stores in their dedicated cinema rooms.
Its not just because it has some of the best picture quality and visual effects as well as probably the best audio (despite being DD and not DTS-HD MA) in any movie, its because I can watch it for a 30th time being equally excited every time, as if the 2 hours and 20 minutes just fly by.
AVATAR is the only movie better suited for testing a cinema, but I watched it for the first time in a public cinema, second time in a dedicated home cinema room and for a third time rented it before I got my own projoctor. I was bored silly and frequently checking what time it was because so bored.
Still going to end up buying it because I want to see what it looks like on my $5000 projector

Can almost agree lol.
