The Dark Knight truly was a 10/10 masterpiece. I am not joking when I'm saying I've seen it dozens of times. I always use it as a benchmark for my own setup. I've also watched it probably 10-15 different times with 1-3 friends at a time. And when I go around hi-fi stores auditioning home cinema set ups I bring my TDK blu-ray and watch it, probably seen it in 20 different a/v stores in their dedicated cinema rooms.

Its not just because it has some of the best picture quality and visual effects as well as probably the best audio (despite being DD and not DTS-HD MA) in any movie, its because I can watch it for a 30th time being equally excited every time, as if the 2 hours and 20 minutes just fly by.

AVATAR is the only movie better suited for testing a cinema, but I watched it for the first time in a public cinema, second time in a dedicated  home cinema room and for a third time rented it before I got my own projoctor. I was bored silly and frequently checking what time it was because so bored.

Still going to end up buying it because I want to see what it looks like on my $5000 projector :p

Can almost agree lol.

Oh wow

The Dark Knight will still be my favorite Batman movie, however, I would not say The Dark Knight Rises sucked. Sure, there were few plot fails that could easily be pointed out. But the movie kept me watching and paying attention to every little detail. Hardy did a good job playing Bane and Bale, as always, did a not half bad job being Batman. Hathaway coming in to play Catwoman was a bit shocking, but she nailed the role and made it an interesting movie to sit through.

Batman was so long but it was sick. I liked the Anne Hathaway parts I watched the Devil wears prada after I saw batman and it was good too.

The Bane story line is also interesting. the ending is sickk too where batman dies ;)

Just because it is a comic book movie does not mean it has to be mindless action. One of the best things about comics is the social commentary and non action things that happen sometimes subtley but other times in a big way. People need to realize that comics are not just cool pictures, the stories can be very meaningful. The movie was amazing.

Interesting, from what I read Anne Hathaway as Catwoman is what ruined the movie.

This was a comic book movie?

It was more like a movie with characters who happen to appear in comics, and a story that makes little sense, and shits on all of their development.

I loved the first two Batman movies, but I was greatly disappointed with this third one. The trailer looked very promising, but the movie turned out to be very slow and had very little action compared to the first two. The acting and gfx were good and the Catwoman did a great job, and I liked Robin, but the movie itself was just so slow and there was too much talking. A huge disappointment. Best to wait til it comes out on DVD, and rent it from Redbox.

i agree

I loved the first two Batman movies to
the third one cant to keep up withe the other two

Batman begins 8/10
Dark knight 10/10
Dark knight rises 6/10

Bane. Grown man in flashback when Talia al' Ghul is 10 years old.

20 years later.

Hasn't aged at all. Bane is apparently immortal.

LOOKING GOOD.

Maybe he was 20 then, and 40 now?
