There is no way the zombies would just give up and walk away when he's right there under the dumper. that alley was filled to the brim.

maybe if they had shown Enid doing serious distraction techniques to get the zombies away that might have worked. but it would have to be something pretty heroic on her part and she's not known for that

anyway, its just the typical tv bullshit. not a big deal. still a good ep and great season so far
