Fuck that episode was fun. I honestly thought Jaime was going to die.

Btw was Bronn or Dickon Tarly that "saved " Jamie?

Also that scene where Jamie says Rickon and Dickon corrects him while Bronn cracks up was funny as hell.

At the end? Probably Bronn. Previous scene showed him spying a white horse, which is the horse we saw with the rider that saved him.

Why was the water deep enought to drawn him when he was so close to the land ? I don't think he's dead, death by dragon would've been better. First scene from next episode will be him being rescued.

Edit : If he did die, it's still nice. He falls in the water, its how he ends. But all started when Bran felt off the window.

I think the last shot was more symbolic than realistic. I don't think he actually sunk into a dark abyss.

No chance he's dead: https://youtu.be/eYNCCu0y-Is?t=188

He still has to kill Cersei. Probably gonna kill the Night King too. The Night King will try to touch Jaime's hand, but the fact that it's a fake golden hand will end up being the thing that saves his life. Then the fact that he's always called "Kingslayer" will take on a new meaning.

He's one of the few villainous characters with redeemable qualities. I'm sure he'll die at some point but he needs to turn on his sister first and go out like a boss.

The show started out by presenting him in a way that made the audience root against him, but I feel like it has a done a good job turning around to where he is anything but a villain.

Perhaps I am biased by the all the backstory provided in the books, but I find Jaime a completely sympathetic character. Considering the responsibility he was born into (youngest ever Kingsguard, son of a tyrant with ridiculous expectations), the fact that he fell in love+lust with his twin sister (one of the most manipulative women in the world) at a young age, his dyslexia and all the things he's gone through, I feel like he's holding a clear head pretty well with good judgement and good morals. He hasn't made a military mistake (losing to dragons doesn't count, they are hacks). Neither of his siblings hate him, which is an amazing accomplishment considering the divide that separates them.
