My favorite is Jaqen H'ghar, like to see someone try and kill him

I dislike gore (I don't watch horror movies) and I disliked having to see that scene, but it made the scene better. To take a moment with such a dramatic twist and grab our emotions like that was brilliant. A great show evokes emotion in its audience and that's exactly what it did. Even as a book reader who knew what was going to happen it still made me giddy to see it done so well.

Why do you think Tywin has a target on his head? Who would want to and be in position to kill him?

Why do book people always try to make themselves superior? If you've avidly watched 4 seasons of Game of Thrones and still not read any of the books, you're not going to read them.

I've only ever read 7 books in my life (apart from school projects of course) And that was Harry Potter 1-7. And yes the books were better than the movies, YES the movies only had 10% of the content in the books.


But I hate reading books, and reading the books will take away 90% of the joy of watching the TV show.

Plus, none of my friends have read the books so I'd have to keep everything a secret for another ~ 3 years and not take part in discussions around the the series anyways...



I fucking agree. I've seen a lot of violence and I'm not talking about things you see in movies because that's baby food compared to what you can find around the internet if you do extensive research or look at websites that would get you banned for posting here.

But Oberyn's death man... Was like watching a brother die ... And he technically won the fight, if he had pierced his spear through his heart/head instead of mumbling about a confession. Pretty much like every villain who would kill the hero but instead give a 5 minute speech and the hero ceases the opportunity to strike.

Tywin Lannister is the most powerful man in all of Westeros, success breeds jealousy. Half the kingdoms want the Lannisters dead, killing Joffrey, Tommen, Jaime, Cersei or Tyrion won't do shit, they're all puppets anyways. Killing Tywin on the other hand is the key to the destruction of the Lannisters/taking over Kings Landing, watch them crumble without their master.

^ Those have always been my thoughts and we heard something similar from Davos and Stanis Baratheon when they talked to that council in the Iron Bank or whatever it was.


Who would want him dead?


- Arya (not in position obviously)
- Dnaeries Targaryan (not yet, but will be in a very good position to kill him when her dragons mature + her huge army)
- Petyr Baelish (the worm that he is could poison him or get some assassin to do so)
- Oberyn (now deceased, but he was in a very good position to do so)
- Any Martell character not yet introduced, possibly an even greater/stronger fighter than Oberyn (an older brother, a father, a younger brother perhaps?)
- The Tyrells, to eliminate the head of the family and successfully be the most powerful/richest family in Westeros

Probably more, but those are the most likely I believe.


Two things I've learned from the series.

- Lannisters just don't die (if we count Joffrey out since he was officially known as Joffrey Baretheon, not Lannister, but even so he's just 1 guy in 4 seasons)
- Every character I love has to die. and Tywin Lannister is the only character left I care for. You could torture the rest of the characters and I wouldn't give two shits anymore to be honest.

Baelish and the Tyrells killed Joffrey and they are the ones from your list who have motive and opportunity to kill Tywin. Just out of curiosity, can you think of any other possibilities? Who would be the next most likely candidates after the 6 u listed?

Yea Oberyn's death was ridiculous, all my friends were like fuck this show after that scene, because Oberyn deserved to win and Tywin deserves to live. I mean Tywin was right when he said don't drink before the fight. Whatever though bullshit fucking ending, hope the mountain dies regardless.


and lol as for Jaqen H'ghar nobody has mentioned anything about his guild of assassins, that shit's crazy, i hope the plot develops further through this season or the next.
