Honest question - I'm not flaming anyone, and I'd appreciate if people could avoid flaming me as well.
I watched this show until I think season 4. It got incredibly tedious, and I found myself not caring about any of the characters because of what I thought was shitty development.
Has the show improved? Is it actually about zombies again? Is it still just the main characters being able to kill 1,000,000,000 zombies by themselves with nothing but a machete.
Just looking for some honest opinions from people who aren't HUGE fan-boys of the show. I know it's hard to be impartial if you're actively watching the show and enjoying it, but I'm hoping someone can give me some answers, maybe give me a couple small details without ruining to much of the plot as to how the show has progressed and if it's been for the better or worse.
Thanks in advance guys.
I think that the past few seasons have been lackluster aside from first/midseason/finale episodes. This season has been one of the best so far due to all of the action.
The thing that makes twd worth watching is that it's not solely about zombies. If that's the sole focus of the show then there's no plot development/character development. It's a survival post apocalypse show rather than a zombie show imo, which I'm totally OK with. If you're looking for a show that's just about zombies, you're probably going to be disappointed.
