If you're not comparing it to the source material it's one of the better shows currently airing, but I don't see any reason for them to be so over the top with the gore porn. The wide angle shot of his smashed head was entirely unnecessary.

There's a very small demographic that actually enjoys seeing shit like that, and they aren't mentally stable. At least I keep hoping it's a minority that finds that in any way pleasant.

I'm quite stable and I've always been a huge fan of gory scenes. I prefer them a lot more than the "letting the audience imagine" kind of mindset.

It feels more real that way. If I was a character in that fantasy world, sitting int he audience, I would SEE that gore. It should shock people, but it's still necessary imo.

Fair enough. I just don't enjoy it at all, and have trouble understanding how anyone else does, but you're right about the realism/shock value.

Fucking horrible ending. Piece of shit ending. Fuck this show.

Oberyn fucking won that, had he not gotten drunk and drunk with rage his dumbass would have not pushed the mountain to admit that he raped his sister, instead his dumbass danced around him asking for a confession and got his brains smashed out, fucking bullshit.

You cannot have a favorite character in this show

i was waiting to see what they showed, waht they didnt show


the guy who played oberyn deserves some kind of award for capturing so many hearts in such a small amount of time

I read the books, and nothing that's going to happen in the next few episodes will make me happy tbh.
