I think 95% are dead or mangle so bad they can't walk, rest are easy pickings, it's actually a better plan, but yeah - Zombie fanboys - it's a real thing.

There are clearly over 20,000 zombies in that quarry, and you can tell from comparing the semi truck that the cliff is around 60ft only. There is no way in hell you kill 95% of them with a 60ft drop considering the body pile up. Assuming the zombies somehow all land on their head so they die and somehow turn into Rick right after death so they don't cushion the fall for the rest, you still don't even get close to 1/4 of them dead before the pile isn't just a steep hill.

Not to mention you won't get lucky and a lot of them won't die from the fall, they will either get away with like bodily injuries which would kill a human but make no difference to zombies, say crushed ribcage; or break their legs and then you still have the problem of the sound plus remember the terrifying scene like 2 seasons ago with that horde of leg-less zombies?

clearly over 100 ft, clearly less than 20k, + clearly enough room for them to not pile up if walked off the cliff

stop being a zombie

Nice job finding a picture that cropped out the semi, a thing someone could use to compare to the cliff size in order to come to an actual estimate of the size instead of just pulling a number out if their ass like you clearly just did.

Even if we are being EXTREMELY fucking generous and call that a 100ft cliff, your plan still blows giant hairy rotting zombie balls.

the reason the cliff look so small was because of a thing called perspective:

close shots of things can make far away things in the background look extremly tiny. (OMG its magic!)

and since you have no reasonable plan except to tear apart mine and love rick's plan that totally failed,

you're just a zombie to whatever you see on tv. Nice reality you live in.

A semi literally right on the cliff that you are trying to argue the size of will have the same relative perspective, hence me saying use the semi to estimate the cliff size. How is anyone as stupid as you?

You just said "nice job cropping out the semi" inferring that was what you were using to guestimate the size of the cliff - until I showed a shot where it easily looks 100 ft plus. How have you managed to live life so long when it seems a common tree or any object might outwit you. Hey, by any chance you cousin isn't also your daughter is she?

I know its hard to remeber what you said 1/2 hour ago so

In what way do you run them all off the cliff?
Because they have to follow something off for that to happen

Also, in the case that the cliff plan is the best, would you admit that Rick's plan is the 2nd best?

Rick's plan - lead them 20 km
My plan - lead them 1/2 a km

Rick's plan - Zero end plan - just hope they keep walking
My plan - Lead them to where 95% are dead or mangled by falling off a cliff (that kid almost fell off the cliff, plus those zombies chasing him did, it wouldn't take much incentive for a horde to simply walk off the cliff - like a screaming animal on the end of a pole) - they aren't logical in the least - they see something they want and they just run for it. That one zombie at the end who bit that guy in the cheek - he was stuck in a tree- like how stupid do you have to be when your outwitted by a tree? They eat brains, because they don't have one.

-Still unmoved in the pit? Well we know that they can be lead by using sight and sound - plus they got them all to follow, didn't they? So really that's not unreasonable.

My thing is I just don't know how you will be able to effectively lure thousands of zombies 1/2km, my point was that's too short. Most of the zombies will be unmoved in the pit and then you have zombies just falling in from the other side. That itself will draw attention and keep the zombies that are in the pit to remain where they are.

An alternate reasonable approach would be to combine yours and ricks strategies. Get them all out, whatever distance that would take, then lead them back in.

you wouldn't need to run them off the cliff, just lead them near the edge (like they were doing) -slip behind a gate or something to hide yourself - have some noisy animals tied to a pole that hangs out over the edge - like a goat - the noise and live flesh would be enough to distract their attention - but as they ran for it , there would simply be no more ground for them. Bye Zombies. Have you ever scene the photo of leading a donkey with a carrot tied in front of it.

Rick's plan the second best? - well i didn't even hear any other reasonable plans on the show really , except for exactly like here - a few people who wanted to crap all over it but had nothing reasonable to offer. The building a wall to keep them in was a reasonable Temporary" plan, until a real plan came up - but everyone seems willing to throw their full support behind lunatics and start full blown running with blinders on.

Keep in mind

They had an entire night to think about it as well and make modifications as necessary. The process was catalyzed when the semi fell and options were limited.
