Like a nice soft cushy pillow to cradle and protect them? -_-
These guys are so decrepit, they explode by walking into a wall - even a fall of 5-10 feet would be more than enough.

plus if any survived (doubtful) , they would be with broken bones and a blob of rotting flesh.

Couldn't call the show the WALKING dead anymore could you, more like the Staining Dead.

They actually showed how they got in, and it wasn't falling in, they got in because one side of that pit is like a sloped sand , and that was the direction they were all being drawn from. It wouldn't make any sense if in one scene they were dying by smashing their own brains by walking into a wall, but somehow they were able to survive a 100+ foot all straight down just because they were "zombies".

But i can't blame Rick for thinking his stupid plan would work because he's still a little crazy, not full blown hallucinating crazy - just a little tv delusional and the pressure has gotten to him.

The most unrealistic part of ricks plan is the make them walk 20 miles part, besides that it's fine. Your plan is flawed as well. How are you going to move thousands of zombies up on a cliff to have them fall to their deaths? The hoard is massive. You will get a fraction where you want th to be but the vast majority will still be unmoved still in the pit.

Not to mention any hope of a plan like this would likely have collapsed on itself after the semi fell.

Your plan is shitty.

And do you not realize that they aren't just "walking into a wall"....? They are being pressed into the wall by hundreds of zombies behind them. Your skull would be smashed under that much force

Rick's plan - lead them 20 km
My plan - lead them 1/2 a km

Rick's plan - Zero end plan - just hope they keep walking
My plan - Lead them to where 95% are dead or mangled by falling off a cliff (that kid almost fell off the cliff, plus those zombies chasing him did, it wouldn't take much incentive for a horde to simply walk off the cliff - like a screaming animal on the end of a pole) - they aren't logical in the least - they see something they want and they just run for it. That one zombie at the end who bit that guy in the cheek - he was stuck in a tree- like how stupid do you have to be when your outwitted by a tree? They eat brains, because they don't have one.

-Still unmoved in the pit? Well we know that they can be lead by using sight and sound - plus they got them all to follow, didn't they? So really that's not unreasonable.

Best case scenario your plan kills 10%, then you are completely fucked. Rick's plan is the only reasonable one, and it is a pretty sound plan. Focus the zombies walking away from the town and they will follow the path, horde mentality without a leader is extremely easy to manipulate.

I think 95% are dead or mangle so bad they can't walk, rest are easy pickings, it's actually a better plan, but yeah - Zombie fanboys - it's a real thing.

still iso this. Anyone?

comparing rick's plan to other ideas is kinda hard when we don't even know what his method of disposal was....

perhaps rick n the crew learned of the Wolves and he is leading the zombie hoard to their camp?
