You kill 2000 then you have a horde constantly going round and round until the wall you have deflecting them to the cliff breaks down and then you are back at step one. So basically you are doing a lot of extra work and using a lot of extra resources to do what a built up wall would do, which is just buying time until you can think of a real plan.

Holy crap dude - did you even watch the episode - they were dieing from walking into a wall - that cliff that they first came across looked over 100+ feet high - have you ever seen an open mine pit before,most are pretty deep. It might not kill every single one - but it would make it very easy to kill them if they couldn't even walk because every single bone was broken and crushed. Bones need blood flow to remain strong, without it they are much more brittle. So a 100+ foot fall = most are dead or crushed.

Actually, a couple of them died from the wall due to the horde pushing the ones in front, but once the horde was turned, there weren't any more deaths. Not that you have anything relevant to say on the matter.

You're ignoring the fact that zombies were already FALLING into the quarry to get that many walkers in there in the first place. Which is why Alexandria was pretty much walker free.

A couple thousand die at most and then there would be a suitable cushion at the bottom to stop them from dying. Even if you don't consider that to be possible, eventually the bodies would like up high enough that the drop wouldn't kill them whether they hit solid ground or not. Even if you assume every single zombie that falls off the cliff dies, until the pile of dead bodies is literally as high as the cliff, there is no way a cliff kills a significant amount of the walkers in that pit. And the walkers would stop dying from the fall LONG before that scenario happens...

The best way to wipe out that zombie horde? Monster trucks. Those fuckers can crush cars with ease, that zombie horde would be on thin ice.

lol, the splatter of organic tissues into the engine, air intake and not to mention sharp shattered bones flying around... Yeah seems like a totally good plan to use a monster truck to massacre a horde of undead, untill the aforementioned breaks down your fallable mode of transportation and you're surrounded till they either get to you or you die from dehydration. Even if you manage it, would you wanna gamble it like that? If i had a monster truck, i would rather use it as an escape vehicle on the side of alexandria with no roads but still traversable by monster truck, just in case.
