He always been my fav but I need new badass fav character. Thinking about it...stannis was nuts already he was burning people , killed hes brother and tried to sacrifice he's nephew. I'm just sad for Davos he rly liked that girl I wonder what will happen when he finds out

My memory may be failing me, but I can't think of an instance from the books where it talks about a dragon from having been killed in battle by enemy soldiers throughout the history of Westeros. The way that dragons are spoken of, they are pretty much regarded as the medieval equivalent of nuclear weapons.
I'm not saying the show is factually incorrect or that I disagree with their decision to portray Drogon like that. I thought the scene was adapted just fine. It did however, deviate from the spirit of what dragons represent in peoples' minds.
